Product description

Maximum performance for demanding commuters.

The Segway GT3 isn't just an electric scooter – it's a technical powerhouse created for anyone who wants the best in design, performance and technology. With a max power of 2400W, an impressive range of up to 95 km and an advanced suspension that swallows bumps as if they weren't there, the GT3 is a SuperScooter that challenges the limits of what an electric scooter can be. Whether you're commuting to work or seeking adrenaline-filled weekend adventures, the GT3 gives you world-class control, comfort and power.

Long range for the freedom to ride farther.

With Segway's own SegRange™ technology, the GT3 maximizes every charge and offers up to 95 km of range in Eco mode. Even at a speed of 25 km/h, you reach up to 75 km. Want to take it even further?

Raw motor power for powerful acceleration.

The rear-wheel-drive motor delivers 1200W of nominal power and a full 2400W of peak power, giving you the strength to climb hills of up to 30% incline. Combined with Ultra Boost Mode, you accelerate from 0 to 48 km/h in just 9.5 seconds.

World-class comfort with hydraulic suspension.

The Segway GT3 is equipped with dual hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a rear hydraulic trailing arm, providing a luxuriously smooth ride over both city streets and tougher surfaces. Vibrations are minimized, comfort is maximized – perfect whether you're riding to work or exploring new roads on the weekend.

Safe riding with a focus on stability.

With the advanced SegRide™ Stability Enhancement System, you get superior control even in sharp corners, on slippery roads and at higher speeds. The system balances agility and stability, so you always feel secure in the saddle – regardless of weather or road conditions.

Puncture-free trips with self-sealing tires.

The GT3's wide 11-inch tubeless tires have a built-in gel coating that automatically seals small holes. That means fewer interruptions, less maintenance and a worry-free riding experience – especially on gravel roads and in city traffic where the risk of punctures is high.

Powerful lighting for safe evening rides.

The GT3 has a strong 1300-lumen headlight with both high and low beam (14W and 5W respectively) that automatically adapts to the light conditions. Together with integrated front and rear turn signals and a brake light, you're clearly visible from all angles – whether it's day or night.

Advanced display for total control.

The colorful TFT display shows speed, battery level, riding mode, navigation and even incoming calls. You get a full real-time overview of your ride without having to take your eyes off the road – practical, sleek and safe.

Smart technology with app support and Apple Find My.

With Segway AirLock, the scooter automatically locks and unlocks based on your proximity. And should you lose it? Then you can track it directly in Apple's "Find My" app. Via the Segway app, you can also adjust settings, monitor battery status and much more. The app is available to download on App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

Designed for everyday life and adventure.

The GT3's rugged high-strength steel construction handles up to 150 kg of load. It folds up easily for transport and has an IPX6-rated chassis with an IPX7 battery, making it ready for rainy days. With three riding modes – Eco, Standard and Sport – you adapt your ride to the day's needs.

Summary – an electric scooter in a class of its own.

The Segway GT3 is the SuperScooter for anyone who wants maxed-out performance, long range, groundbreaking technology and a riding feel beyond the ordinary. From city commuting to weekend adventures – with the GT3 you get the freedom to ride farther, faster and smarter.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
