Product description

A powerful electric bike for longer everyday journeys.

The LOOKROAD L28 MIN is a well-equipped electric bike for those who want to commute further, carry luggage and gain more flexibility in their daily lives. The combination of a 500W motor, a removable 36V 18Ah battery and large 28-inch tyres gives a stable riding experience on both cycle paths and varied terrain. The rigid frame, front suspension and practical cargo options make the model particularly interesting for daily commuting. With a range of up to 120 kilometres in pedal assistance mode, this electric bike can reduce the need for frequent charging and make longer journeys easier to plan.

Long range for commuting and leisure.

The 36V 18Ah battery gives the LOOKROAD L28 MIN the capacity needed for longer rides. In pedal assistance mode, the stated range of the electric bike is approximately 100–120 kilometres. In pure electric mode, the stated range is approximately 50–70 kilometres. Actual distance covered is affected by factors including the selected assistance level, rider weight, temperature, tyre pressure, terrain and the number of stops. For those looking for an electric bike with a long battery life, this means a good chance of completing several everyday journeys before charging. A full charge takes approximately six to eight hours.

Removable battery that simplifies charging.

The removable battery makes this electric bike practical for those who lack a power socket in their garage or bike store. You can easily take the battery inside and charge it in a suitable place. The feature is also useful during colder periods, as the battery is better off stored indoors. The included charger is matched to the battery, making it easy to build a regular charging routine at home or at the workplace.

500W motor with five assistance levels.

The LOOKROAD L28 MIN is powered by a motor with a nominal output of 500W and a torque of 40Nm. This gives this electric bike good power when starting, riding into a headwind and on roads with a gradient. The stated climbing ability is up to 25 degrees under suitable conditions. Via the clear colour display, you can choose between five assistance levels and adapt the motor's help to the traffic, terrain and desired range. The Shimano system with seven gears also makes it possible to find a comfortable pedalling cadence when you want to ride more actively or conserve the battery.

Controlled speed for different riding environments.

The electric bike has a stated top speed of up to 35 km/h and is fitted with a 25 km/h speed limiter. This means the speed can be adapted to where the product is used and the rules that apply there. Riding modes, motor output and features can affect how an electric bike is classified, so always check current local requirements before riding on public roads. The cruise control can provide a more even pace on longer suitable stretches, while the electric horn makes it easier to alert other road users when needed.

Large tyres and suspension for better comfort.

The 28-inch pneumatic tyres contribute to a stable and compliant feel on longer rides. Together with the front suspension fork, they help this electric bike handle uneven tarmac, minor potholes and changing surfaces more comfortably. The solid iron frame gives a sturdy construction and an upright riding position suited to everyday commuting. The LOOKROAD L28 MIN is recommended for riders from approximately 155 centimetres tall and has a recommended maximum load of 100 kilograms. The electric bike weighs 29 kilograms and measures 1830 x 600 x 1150 millimetres.

Disc brakes and lighting for safer journeys.

Mechanical disc brakes front and rear provide controlled stopping power in urban traffic and when riding with luggage. The electric bike also has an LED front light and an LED rear light with a brake warning function, which improves visibility when lighting conditions change. Mudguards help protect clothing and bike components on wet roads. The construction has an IP54 rating, meaning protection against limited dust ingress and water splashes. The product should not be submerged in water or cleaned with a pressure washer. Regular checks of the brakes, tyres and lighting help the electric bike maintain its function over time.

Practical equipment for transport and everyday use.

The LOOKROAD L28 MIN comes with a front basket and a rear rack system that make the electric bike useful for work, study and shopping. The rear rack has a stated maximum load of 25 kilograms, providing room for a pannier bag or securely fastened everyday luggage. The colour display shows relevant riding information and has a USB port that can be used to charge compatible devices. The package also includes a battery, charger, keys, tool kit, mudguards, pedals and instructions, giving you the basic equipment needed for assembly, charging and use.

A well-considered choice for longer journeys.

The LOOKROAD L28 MIN suits those looking for a powerful electric bike with long range, a removable battery and practical transport options. It combines a 500W motor, five assistance levels, Shimano gearing, front suspension and 28-inch tyres in a format developed for comfortable everyday riding. Dual disc brakes, comprehensive lighting and a clear colour display also provide better control throughout the ride. Choose the LOOKROAD L28 MIN from Wheelyshop when you want a versatile electric bike for commuting, leisure and recurring transport needs.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
