Product description

Powerful commuting with comfort and control.

The ENGWE L20 3.0 Pro isn't just an electric bike – it's your new favorite for smooth, safe and powerful city commuting. With an advanced mid-mounted motor, full suspension and an impressive range of up to 160 km, it combines everything you need to get around with style and confidence – whether you're rolling through the city streets or heading out on longer excursions.

Full suspension for unbeatable comfort.

With a full suspension system – both front and rear – the L20 3.0 Pro absorbs up to 90% of all vibrations. The result? A smooth and stable riding experience even on uneven surfaces. It's like cycling on clouds, whether you're navigating cobblestones, curbs or gravel roads. You get the same shock absorption as a mountain bike, but in a compact and city-friendly format.

Powerful mid-motor that handles every hill.

The 250W mid-mounted Mivice X700 motor delivers a full 100 Nm of torque, letting you get up steep hills without breaking a sweat. Together with an advanced torque sensor system, you get natural and responsive assistance – the more you pedal, the more power you get back.

Up to 160 km range – perfect for long adventures.

The powerful 48V 15Ah battery from Samsung with 21700 cells gives you up to 160 km of range in PAS mode. That means you can commute all week without having to charge – or take long weekend trips without range anxiety. And when it's finally time to charge, it only takes 2 hours with the fast-charging 8A charger.

Foldable design for a flexible everyday life.

Despite its rugged construction, the L20 3.0 Pro is foldable – which makes it easy to bring in the car, store in the apartment or take on the train. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine different modes of transport without compromising on comfort or performance.

Built-in anti-theft protection with GPS tracking.

Safety is just as important as performance. With the built-in IoT module, you get real-time notifications directly in the app if someone touches your bike. GPS tracking, a motion detector and app monitoring mean you always have full control – wherever you are.

Hydraulic disc brakes for total control.

Whether you cycle in the rain, on gravel or in busy urban environments, the dual hydraulic 180 mm disc brakes provide reliable and precise braking power. You get safer cycling with a shorter braking distance and better control in all weather.

Puncture-resistant tires that handle more.

The wide 20x3.0" tires with 3 mm of reinforced puncture protection provide both increased stability and comfort. Perfect for the city's varied road surfaces and unexpected obstacles. You get better grip, fewer vibrations and, above all, fewer punctures.

Smart display and app control.

On the clear 3.5" LCD color display, you see speed, battery level, riding mode and other important information in real time. With ENGWE's app, you can also lock the bike, track GPS positioning, adjust settings and get statistics directly on your phone.

Practical details that make a difference.

The L20 3.0 Pro is packed with well-thought-out features that make your everyday life easier. The sturdy rear luggage rack handles heavy loads, perfect for grocery bags or a child safety seat. The ergonomic saddle and 680 mm wide handlebars provide a comfortable riding position even on longer trips. The included ignition key, the electronic horn and the bright front and rear lights further contribute to both safety and ease of use.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
