Product description

APEFOX RH20 – a foldable electric bike with power for more roads.

The APEFOX RH20 is a powerful electric bike for anyone who wants the freedom to commute, discover new roads, and get around with confident control even when the surface varies. With dual motors, long range, wide 20-inch fatbike tires, and full suspension, it's built for city streets, gravel roads, and lighter terrain alike. The foldable frame makes the APEFOX RH20 especially practical if you want to be able to store the electric bike at home, take it in the car, or use it on RV trips. This is an electric bike for anyone looking for strong performance, long battery life, and high comfort in a flexible format.

Dual motors with strong acceleration.

The APEFOX RH20 is equipped with dual motors of 1000W nominal power, split between 500W at the front and 500W at the rear. When needed, the system can deliver up to 1500W of peak power, providing powerful pulling assistance on starts, hills, and more demanding riding situations. With 65 Nm of torque and a climbing ability of up to 30°, the electric bike feels stable even in hilly areas. The six riding modes make it easy to adapt the assistance to your riding, from calm everyday commuting to more powerful riding on permitted surfaces. The APEFOX RH20 has a standard speed limit of 25 km/h and can reach up to 50 km/h where permitted and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Long range with a removable battery.

The large 48V 22.5Ah battery gives the APEFOX RH20 a range of up to 100 km with pedal assistance, depending on riding mode, weight, weather, and surface. In pure electric mode, the range is stated at around 50–60 km, while pedal assistance can provide around 80–100 km. That makes the model a long-range electric bike for anyone who wants to commute farther, take weekend rides, or reduce the need for frequent charging stops. The battery is removable and can be charged either directly on the bike or separately, which makes everyday use smoother. With a 54.6V 2A charger and a charging time of around 7–8 hours, the bike is ready again after a night by the charger.

20-inch fatbike tires for stable grip.

The wide 20 x 4.0-inch Kenda pneumatic tires give the APEFOX RH20 a secure, stable riding feel on several types of surface. As a fatbike electric bike, it gets a better contact area with the ground, which helps on gravel, wet roads, hard-packed dirt, uneven asphalt, and lighter terrain. The tires also add to comfort by dampening small vibrations from the road. For anyone who wants an electric bike that works both in the city and on more adventurous routes, the RH20 provides a good balance of grip, stability, and riding enjoyment.

Full suspension for a more comfortable ride.

The APEFOX RH20 has suspension at both the front and rear to make longer rides more comfortable and controlled. The front suspension has 80 mm of travel and works together with the rear oil suspension to smooth out bumps, seams, and uneven roads. That makes a big difference when you ride over gravel, poor asphalt, or other surfaces where a rigid electric bike can quickly feel harsh. The full-suspension system makes the RH20 feel more stable and responsive, while giving you better comfort during daily commuting and longer adventures.

Hydraulic disc brakes with responsive control.

With two hydraulic disc brakes, the APEFOX RH20 gets strong, even braking power when you need to slow down quickly and in a controlled way. That's especially important on a powerful electric bike with wide tires, high weight, and the potential for longer rides. The hydraulic brakes give a more responsive feel than simpler braking systems and require less hand force when braking. The rear light has a brake-activated function, which helps you be seen more clearly from behind when you brake. Together with the headlight, the taillight, and the IPX4 rating, you get an electric bike that's practically equipped for everyday use in varying conditions.

Smart display and practical details.

The large LED display gives clear information about speed, battery level, riding mode, gear, distance, and other important riding data. The display also shows single or dual drive mode, which makes it easy to see how the motor assistance is being used. The APEFOX RH20 has a USB port for charging your phone on the go, a mechanical bell, an ignition key, and a comfortable saddle for longer rides. The Shimano Tourney 7-speed drivetrain lets you adapt the pedaling resistance to the road and pace, which is especially useful when you want to save battery or cycle more actively.

Foldable design for car, home, and travel.

The foldable frame makes the APEFOX RH20 a flexible choice for anyone who wants a powerful electric bike without sacrificing storage options. It can be folded in two steps and fits better in the car, at home, or on RV trips. The aluminum frame provides a stable construction, while the net weight of 37.5 kg reflects the heavy-duty frame, the dual motors, and the large battery. The recommended rider height is 160–200 cm and the maximum load is 120 kg. The dimensions are 1860 x 680 x 1080 mm, which provides a steady riding position and a rugged feel on the road.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
